Course Objectives
Catalog description
Basic concepts of perceptional design, information processing skilled behavior, interaction models, user interface design, and implementation and deployment of usability testing procedures. Case studies are analyzed and a show case project is implemented.
By the end of the semester you can expect to have demonstrated or developed an ability to:
1. Analyze a website to asses and identify of usability principles used in the design of that website
2. Carry out user centered web application design process
3. Implement a web application interface using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
4. Implement and deploy usability testing procedure
5. Analyze and use usability testing data in refining the design of a web application
